This was the final project for certification from the UX Writers Collective, which I achieved in 2020.

CHALLENGE

To work with the UX design team on the UX writing for a new app for freelancers and people who hire freelancers.

SOLUTION

Wrote clear copy for both categories of user and advocated for the user through research, user testing, and iterations.

HOW I HELPED

• Developed a brand voice and tone guide for Handshake

• Wrote clear and concise copy for all screens, buttons, and empty state fields

• Highlighted potential issues for users in design functionality
